Met In Italy

Two Mexborough brothers, Gnr. Frank Green, R.A., and Cpl. Roland Green, R.A.F., sons of Mrs. and the late Mr. F. Green of 15, West Street, have met while serving in Italy.

Cpl. Green, who is 24, has been abroad for four years and has taken part in campaigns in France, North Africa, and Sicily.

Gnr. Green (21) is serving with the Eighth Army. He was drafted abroad 18 months ago and before joining the Forces was a bricklayer.

Roland was previously employed by Messrs. Ward and Sons, Swinton, and since being in the RA.F. has become a keen footballer.
