Brothers in Egypt

Driver R. Freeman (picture) and his brother, Driver A. Freeman, sons of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Freeman, of Dolcliffe Road, Mexborough, are both serving in H.M. Forces in Egypt. They both attended the Schofield Street School and before joining up worked at Manvers Main Colliery.

R. Freeman was married when he game home on leave in June. He and his brother have both won cups for boxing and darts. They are both drivers in the Royal Artillery.
