Three Mexboro’ Brothers
Captured, Wounded, and Missing,
Pie. Edward Brown. (South Wales Borderers) (picture, left), 3, Lower Dolcliffe road, Mexboro’ has been missing since May 27.
His brother, Signaller John Brown (picture, centre), was wounded in both legs last March, and is now in hospital in Westmorland. He is aged 25, married, and enlisted in 1914. He went to France in 1915, and.was wounded in 16.
Before enlistment he worked at Manvers Main.
A half-brother, Pte. John H Hague (K.O.Y.L.I.) (picture, right ), 2, Lower Dolcliffe Road enlisted in 1914, went to France in.1915, and is now a prisoner being captured on May 30, 1918. He is 25, and was formerly employed at Manvers Main.
