Mexborough & Swinton Times – Saturday 19 April 1941

Two sons of Mr and Mrs E Bentham, of 40, Lorna Rd, Mexborough and now serving with the Forces.

They are second Lieutenant, Eric Benson (23), eldest son, and Sapper R  Benson (21), youngest son.

Eric has been serving with K.O.S.B. for 15 months and is in England. Sapper Benson joined the Royal Engineers last April and he is serving abroad.

Both are old boys of Mexborough Secondary School
