Another ” Times ” Office Medallist.

Sgt. Harold Wrigley (A.S.C.). who lived with his Sister, Mrs Hepworth 55, Park Road, Mexboro’, has been awarded the Military Medal – for valuable service in directing a flying column of cavalry during a retirement.

Sgt. Wrtley, who was formerly on the general printing staff of the “Mexborough and Swinton Times,” enlisted at an early stage cf the war, and has been in France about three years. He was closely- identified with the Scout movement at Mexboro’ and. Swinton and was for some time secretary of the Swinton Tennis Club.

Is the second member of the staff of this paper to gain the Military Medal, the other being privates C Allen (West Riding Regiment), who recently received his medal at a public presentation in Mexborough.
