8 James St, Mexborough, formerly a miner employed at Cadeby, has been missing since September 26, 1916 and is now officially reported killed on that date.

He was 35 years of age, and single. He enlisted in October 1914, and before going to France, where he was killed, and seen active service in Salonika.

His brother private W Wright is serving in France.
