News of Soldier

News has been received of the safety of Lance. Cpl. Eric Wilkinson, only son of Mr. C. Wilkinson, of Adwick Road, Mexborough, who has been evacuated from Greece.

Lance – Corporal Wilkinson joined the Royal Corps of Signals in 1939, before which he worked as a fireman on the L.N.E. Railway.
