Sppr. Cyril White (28), only son of Mr. A. White, 7, Carlisle Street, Mexborough, has been in the Royal Engineers for seven months.

Born in Mexborough he attended Dolcliffe Road School and before joining up was employed by Mr. O. Weaver, of Mexborough.

He went to France, and was evacuated in the evacuation from Dunkirk. He married Miss A. Thirkle, of 32, Dryden Road, Mexborough, nine months
