32, Pitt St, Mexborough was injured in September 12 and is now in hospital where he has suffered the amputation of a portion of his right leg.

He enlisted in January 1916, and was wounded on July 1, 1916 .

He is 22, unmarried, before enlistment was a lamp charge man at the Denaby Main Colliery.

His brother Private. Albert White (York and Lancaster), who enlisted in October 1914. and has been in France eighteen months. is now temporarily employed in agriculture. He was formerly a miner at the Cadeby Colliery, and whose home is at 7 Quakers. Fold, Market Street, Mexborough
