son of Mrs Wagstaff, Butcher of 136, Doncaster Rd, Mexborough was wounded in the night of June 13 and is now in hospital in Perth with shrapnel in his foot.

He is 22 years of age, and before enlistment in May 1916 he assisted his mother in the business.

He went to France nine months ago.
