Killed in Action
Official information has been received by Mrs. G. Waddington of 32, Chaucer Road, Mexborough, that her son, Tpr. Frank Waddington of the Reconnaissance Corps, was killed in action in Italy on April 30th.
Tpr. Waddington, who had been abroad a year, was called up two years ago from his employment in the local goods office of the L.N.E.R. Railway.
He was an old pupil of Adwick Road School.
