Gunner Thomson of 17,Britain Street, Mexboro’, has been awarded the Military Medal for gallantry displayed on Oct. 24.

He enlisted in December, 1914, and has been serving in France two and a half years.

He is single, aged 21, and before enlistment was employed at the Denaby Main Colliery. He is one of the four soldier sons of Mrs. E. Dane, of the above address.
