Pte. Ivy Thompson (21), who lives with her sister, Mrs. C. Morris, at 64, East View, Kirkby Street, Mexborough, was called up in March this year and is now serving with the A.T.S. as a pay clerk.

Educated at Adwick Road School and Mexborough Secondary School, she was formerly a shop assistant in Mexborough. She was also a teacher at the Parish Church Sunday School.
