38, Wood Street, Mexborough was killed in action on July 26.

He enlisted early in 1915, and went to France in December 1915.

He was aged 28, married, was formerly employed at Manvers Main.

His two brothers, Private Davies Street, and private William Street, are both serving in France.

Brig Street came home on leave to be married a fortnight before he was killed.
