Lance Corporal Stephenson 58, Pym Road, Mexborough, aged 22, was killed in action on, October 18. He had been serving since January, 1915, and had been in Franco since August 1915.

He was formerly employed at the Denaby Main Colliery.

His mother has received a message of sympathy from Capt. J. F. Wortley, who states that Lance Corporal Stephenson was killed in an air raid at the Front.
