Private Stanley whose mother resides at Bentley, has been wounded in action in France.

Before enlistment Private Stanley lived in Mexborough, and was employed as a motorman in the Mexborough and Swinton Tramway.

He is now in hospital in Newcastle on Tyne progressing favourably.
