Private Squires, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Squires, Doncaster road, was wounded in action in Italy on June 15, the opening day of the recent Austrian offensive. He is now in hospital in Italy, with injuries to the arm and leg.

He is 20, and has been serving eighteen months, fourteen abroad. Before enlistment he was employed at the Kilnhurst Steel Works.
