Mexborough & Swinton Times – Saturday 19 April 1941

Serving in the R.A.is the youngest son of the late Mr and Mrs J Smith, of 50, Wath Road, Mexborough, Private Leonard Smith (31), who has been in the Army for five months.

He Attended Roman Terrace School, and worked at Manvers Main Colliery as a surface worker.
