Billeted In Windmill

Trooper Henry Edward Smith, of the Royal Tank Regiment, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Smith, 46, Browning Road, Mexborough has been in the Forces for 4 years, for most of the time in England.

He is now serving in Holland.  While serving there he was billeted with three other men of his Regiment in a windmill in a Dutch village.  The photograph of the men taken outside the windmill appeared in several British newspapers.

His brother Signalman Robert Smith, who joined the Army at the outbreak of war, formerly worked in London.

His wife is serving in the A.T.S.
