Doing His Bit

Pte. Ron Severns joined the Territorials in May last year.

He was called up at the outbreak of war and has been with the B.E.F. in France since the beginning of the year.

Writing home, he says he is enjoying himself with the lads and hasn’t much to grumble at.

Pte. Severns is the second son of Mr and Mrs. G. H. Severns, 8, Regents Terrace, Mexborough, and before Joining up was employed by Denaby and Cadeby Colliery Co.
