Private Rogers of 33 Doncaster road, Mexboro’, was killed in action on March 27th.

He had been serving throughout the war and was formerly employed at Hickleton Main.

He was last home on leave in December, and since his return to the Front he has been gassed.

His wife has been twice widowed by the war. Her first husband, Pte. William Scales (West Yorks ), of Mexborough fell in action in September, 1916.
