Missing after Singapore Capitulation

Mr. and Mrs. H. Reynolds, Frederick Street, Mexborough, have been notified from the War Office that their only son, Pte. Ellis Reynolds (22), who was serving with the R.A.O.C. in Malaya when the garrison of Singapore capitulated, is missing.

Only two weeks ago Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds received a postcard from their son saying that he was fit and well.

Before the war he was employed at Queen’s Foundry, Swinton.
