Lance Corporal Harold A Morton (Northumberland Fusiliers), fourth son of Mr and Mrs B Morton, 11 Northgate, Mexborough, is officially reported wounded and missing, and his anxious parents will gratefully receive any intelligence of him.

He has been serving since the early days of the war, and originally enlisted in a cycling unit.

His youngest brother, Lance Corporal Fred Martin, a machine gunner in the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, has been with the Salonica Force for the last two years, and has had two attacks of malaria.
