Private Herbert Minchin
(South Wales Borderers)

33, Pym Road, Mexborough, has been seriously wounded in France.

He had only been back in the trenches a week after recuperating from trench foot.

His parents have received a letter from a Salvation Army chaplain saying that he was in a hospital and well cared for.

Prior to enlistment he was employed at the Denaby Colliery, and was also a member of the Denaby Salvation Army Band.
