South Yorkshire Boys in the Bahamas

This interesting photograph is of five South Yorkshire boys, all members of H. M. Forces, who have met at Nassau, Bahamas.

They are:

Back row, left to right: Jack Lawson, 105, High Street, Wombwell, Cpl. Rowland Hill, New Inn, Barley Hall, Thorpe Hesley, Cpl. Jack Darwin, 98, Tankersley.

Front row: Steve Morris, 4, Summer Lane, Wombwell and Cpl. Harry Lockwood, Adwick Road, Mexborough.

Cpl. Jack Darwin who has seen the photograph, states how eagerly the men read the “South Yorkshire Times,” sent weekly by Mrs. Darwin, and how they are looking forward to a reproduction of their group.
