Mrs. Linforth, of 244, Wath Road, Mexborough, has received notification that her husband, Gdsmn Harold Linforth is on the dangerously ill list at Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford.  A later message reported a slight improvement in his condition.

Gdsmn. Linforth joined the Forces in May 1940.

On leaving school at Conisbrough he started his working career in the in the butchering trade, and before enlistment was employed at Denaby Main.
