Private Law, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Law, pork butcher, Doncaster Road. Mexboro’, was wounded in action in France during August, and is now convalescent at Sandon Hall, Weston, near Stafford.

He was buried in a trench, and also had his wrist broken by a machine-gun bullet or fragment of shrapnel. He had been 19 weeks at the Front.

He is 26 years of age.
