Happy and Well

Alan Holtby, only son of Mr. and Mrs. 1 A. W. Holtby, 2, Washington Street, 1 Mexborough, will have been in the : Army six years in March. He is at present in France, and writes to say he has recently passed his Army School “final”).

He attended Dolecliffe Road school, and was a painter and decorator before joining up. He has been abroad since the beginning of the war.

He married a Brighton girl almost two years ago.

His sister, Miss Peggy Holtby, is a nurse at Wath Wood Isolation Hospital.
