Sergeant W. Hill
Mrs. Pugh, of 13, Kelvin-gtreet, Mexboro’, has three sons in the war. Pte Robert Hill (Royal Fusiliers), who is home on Christmas leave, has come from Tipperary. He has been twice wounded in France.
Pte. Jos. Hill is in a convalescent hospital in France with trench fever.
Sergt. Walter Hill, of the South Wales borderers, concerning whom news has come that he was killed in action on Nov. 22, when he was struck by a_ piece of bursting shrapnel. His age is 22. He joined the Forces on Sept. 1, 1914, and was then in the Y. and L. Regt. He was discharged owing to knee trouble, but rejoined, and was transferred to the South Wales Borderers, in which regiment he had served about three years.
