One Killed

Gnr. Rowland Green (Y. and L.),(picture, left) West-street, Mexborough has died of wounds.

He was 23 and married, and before enlistment, eight months ago, was a bottle worker. He had been serving in France about ten weeks.

A brother, Pte. Frank Green (K.O.Y.L.I.),(picture,centre) also married, is in hospital in Warrington with severe gas-poisoning. He has seen a good deal of active service, and has reviously been wounded T. Gallipoli.

Another brother, Pte. Ernest Green (West Riding Regt.)(picture, right), has been discharged from France after several months there, and has been discharged with bronchitis.
