Gunner Henry Flinders, son of Mr.Granville Flinders, 18, Catherine street, Mexborough, was killed in action at Le Cateau on Oct. 16, and was buried in a civilian cemetery near.

He was 20 years of age, and en-listed last April, being previously employed at the Barnburgh Colliery.

He went to France on Sept. 18th.
