Wounded Man Recovering

Here is a picture of Pte. Rufus Evans, son of Mr. R. Evans, of 11, Albert Road, Mexborough, who, as reported in a recent issue, has been wounded while serving in Normandy.

Before joining the Army two years ago, he worked at Parkgate Forge.

On enquiry this week we were informed that Pte. Evans is making a satisfactory recovery.
