Pte. Eric Durrans, of 41, Hallgate, Mexborough, eldest son of Mrs. Durrans, 18, Belmont Street, Mexborough, is serving with the R.A.S.C.

He was called up in 1940, and was previously a bus driver. He was married the day before he joined the Forces to Miss Kathleen Rhodes.
