Mexborough Military Medalist

Pte. Arthur Dowling, 2/6 D.L.I. 4, Clayfield road Mexborough, has been awarded the Military Medal for courage and devotion with keeping open a line of communication during heavy shell-fire.

He enlisted in July, 1917, and was formerly employed, at the Warren Vale Colliery.
