Four years with A.T.S.

Pte. Jean Cutts, R.A., younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Cutts, of 78, Chaucer Road, Mexborough, and grand-daughter of 88-year-old Mrs. O. Richardson, of the same address, will have served four years with the A.T.S. in February.

She celebrated her 24th birthday yesterday (Thursday), and her engagement is announced to a Newcastle man.

Before joining the Forces, Pte. Cutts was a member of the domestic staff at Mexborough Montagu Hospital, so her work on radiolocation provides a complete change.  She is also sometimes employed as an ambulance driver.

Pte. Cutts’s father, a disabled ex-Serviceman, served for four years in the last war.
