Killed In Action

Mrs. E. O. Cliff, 41, Victoria Road, Mexborough has received official information that her husband Cpl. Ernest O. Cliff has been killed in action while serving with an Armoured Division in North-West Europe.

Cpl. Cliff, who was well known in this district through his interest in Scouting, received a certificate of honour from the Belgian Government for taking part in the liberation of Antwerp.

He leaves a widow and a daughter.
