Corporal Henry Charlesworth, of 25, Dryden Road. Mexborough, who is well known in local athletic circles, has continued his interest in athletics in the Army. He was called up in January, 1940, and is now a corporal-instructor.

His father was killed in the last War.

Cpl. Charlesworth has won several prizes for running, including a cup.
