Capt. Montagu’s Decoration

Captain F. J. 0. Montagu, M.C.

Captain F. J. 0. Montagu, of Melton Hall, who was mentioned in dispatches some time ago, has now been awarded the Military Cross.

He has been serving throughout the war and is at present aide-de-camp to-Lieut. General Sir Ivor Maxse, a Corps Commander on the Western Front.

Captain Montagu served in the South African war with the Coldstream Guards, and was more than once mentioned in dispatches during that campaign.

His brother-in-law, Lieut.-Colonel A. Gavin-Jones, of the Indian Army, has been awarded the D.S.O. Colonel Jones recently left France for India.
