Sergeant John R. Brice
(25th Canadians – Nova Scotia)

Sgt Bryce (25th Canadians – Nova Scotians) has been wounded and after spending a long and painful illness in hospital is now in a convalescent camp.

Sgt Bryce left Mexborough for Canada about seven years ago, but enlisted soon after the outbreak of war, and came over with the second contingent.

He has been serving in the trenches 12 months, when he met with his injuries.
