Missing In Middle East

Three days after receiving an airgraph saying he was In good health and thanking them for the ” Times,” which he was getting regularly, Mr. and Mrs. J. Brammer , 6 Melton Street, Mexborough, were officially informed that their son, Slg. Douglas Brammar (24 ), had been reported missing in the Middle East.

Slg. Brammer joined the R.A. when 17 and was later transferred to the Royal Corps of Signals and spent two years in India before the outbreak of war, when he was posted to the Middle East.

An old boy of Doncaster Road School, Slg. Brammer was also connected with the Parish Church choir and troop of Scouts.
