Gunner Booth, only son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Booth, 2, Rawlinson’s-terrace, Mexboro’, was killed in action on April 24, aged 22, after two and a half years’ service.
He was wounded last October, and after being invalided to England was married to Miss Nellie Daniels, of Poynton. He returned to France at the end of March.
Before enlistment he was employed at Manvers Main.
