Mr. George Ball, of 7, Catherine Steet, Mexborough, has received news that his brother, L/Bdr. Louis Ball (32), RA., has been killed in Italy.

After the outbreak of war, L/Bdr. Ball left Mexborough where he was born, for London.

He leaves a widow and three children.
