Enjoying Army Life

Gunner Arthur Blakemore, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Blakemore, of 36, Frederick Street, Mexborough, serving with the R.A. was called up in October.

He was at the Mexborough branch of Gallons Ltd. for five and a half years before joining the Forces.

He attended Roman Terrace School and since joining up has become a member of the entertainments committee of his Battery.

He enjoys army life immensely.
