Pte. W. A. S. Archer, only son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Archer, 52. Windhill Crescent, is yet another of the district representatives serving with the B.E.F. in France.

Pte. Archer, who is 25, is serving with the Royal Engineers and, prior to enlisting in June last year he was employed at Barnburgh Main Colliery.
