Met Pal Abroad
Joining the Navy at the age of 17, Ordinary Seaman Arthur Frederick Mitchell, has completed two years in the Service. While engaged on convoy work, he has met abroad one of his pals, Oden Myers of Swinton, who is also in the Navy. O/S Mitchell is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell, of 63, Chaucer Road, Mexborough, He attended Adwick Road School, and is a bricklayer by trade.
