Ordinary Signaller W. Lines (37), of Lorna Road, Mexborough, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Lines, of 11 Ruskin Avenue Mexborough, is serving in the Navy, prior to which he was a well-known hairdesser in the town.

He served in the Special Constabulary for three Years and is married.
