This photograph was taken at the opening of Mexborough Adwick Rd, School in 1910.Tucked away in the background, second from the extreme left, is Mr F. C. Pollard, of Doncaster, who was a member of our editorial staff at that time and who has loaned us the photograph. Among the faces he recognises are those of Ald. J. H. Watson, J.P. (standing, “Jimmy” Cliff, Charlie Brumpton, the Rev. T. Anderson, John Brocklesby (Conisbrough) and Chris Ward Mr pollard is now living at 6 Imperial Crescent Doncaster.
