Mr. F. Wilkinson
Mexborough Estate Agent

The death occurred on Friday of Mr. Fred Wilkinson, of 35, Park Road, Mexborough.

Mr. Wilkinson, who was 69, established a business as an estate agent in West Street, Mexborough, more than 40 years ago and this remained his chief interest.

Even during the last months of a painful    illness, which he bore with considerable fortitude, he continued to supervise and direct his business affairs.

For about 20 years he been an agent for the Halifax Building Society.

He was a free mason and a member of the Rockingham Lodge, Swinton.
