Nursing Success.

Miss Joyce Stowell, 32, Byron Road, Mexborough, has passed the State Final Examination held by the General Nursing Council in September.

Miss Stowell is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Stowell, and is 23.

A native of Alberta, Canada, she came to England in 1923, and to Mexborough the same year.

She is an old student of Adwick Road School and has been nursing since 1939, training latterly at Sheffield Royal Hospital.
