Mexborough Twice Draw Level with Notts County

Mexborough accomplishing a smart performance at Meadow Lane yesterday in sharing the points with Notts reserves. Pricing and behind that the players both times and, if they did not do quite some pressing as the old men, they were always dangerous.

Hall scored for Notts at the end of five minutes, Cooke making the opening. Armitage soon equalised from a freekick taken 20 yards out.

The teams were level at the interval, but about halfway through the second portion with us and put Notts ahead with a shop which glanced through off the post. But soon equalised, following fine play by Evinson.
